INDIVIDUAL ONE-ON-ONE DRUM SESSIONS

A Personalized Path to Healing, Expression, and Emotional Regulation Through Rhythm

Sometimes words aren’t enough—and that’s where rhythm steps in. Our One-on-One Drum Sessions are designed to provide individuals of all ages with a safe, empowering space to explore emotional wellness, reduce stress, and reconnect with themselves through the transformative power of drumming.

Facilitated by Drum Professional Stephanie Spreeman, these personalized sessions are tailored to meet the unique emotional, cognitive, and sensory needs of each client. Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, autism spectrum differences, grief, or simply looking for a creative, grounding experience, drum therapy offers a supportive, nonverbal alternative to traditional approaches.

What Makes a One-on-One Drum Session Unique?

Unlike group sessions, one-on-one drum therapy is fully customized. Every session is paced according to the client’s comfort level, energy, and goals. Stephanie creates a nurturing, client-led environment where rhythm becomes a bridge to healing and self-awareness.

This individualized approach allows for:

  • Focused attention and personalized techniques

  • Flexible pacing for sensory sensitivities or emotional needs

  • Targeted exercises to build focus, regulate mood, and encourage expression

  • A deep, trusting therapeutic relationship between facilitator and client

What Makes a One-on-One Drum Session Unique?

  • Emotional Expression Without Words
Drumming offers a powerful outlet for emotions that may be hard to verbalize, helping clients release frustration, anxiety, sadness, or excitement in a safe and nonjudgmental way.

  • Stress and Anxiety Reduction
Repetitive rhythms help regulate the nervous system, calm racing thoughts, and bring the body into a relaxed, grounded state—ideal for individuals dealing with chronic stress or emotional dysregulation.

  • Improved Focus and Cognitive Clarity
Structured rhythm activities stimulate both hemispheres of the brain, enhancing focus, memory, and executive functioning—especially beneficial for those with ADHD, autism, or learning differences.

  • Sensory Integration and Motor Coordination
Drumming activates multiple senses while improving hand-eye coordination, fine motor control, and body awareness in a fun and accessible way.

  • Boosted Self-Esteem and Confidence
With no wrong way to drum, clients build confidence as they engage creatively, experience success, and reconnect with their own sense of rhythm and self-expression.

What Makes a One-on-One Drum Session Unique?

  • Children and teens with autism, ADHD, or sensory processing challenges

  • Adults navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, or trauma

  • Individuals seeking nonverbal, body-based therapy approaches

  • People looking to reconnect with joy, creativity, or mindfulness

No Experience Necessary

You don’t have to be a musician to benefit from drumming. In fact, most clients have no prior experience with drums or percussion. All instruments are provided, and Stephanie gently guides each session based on your comfort, energy, and emotional needs.
