Krista Wells , Board Member
Resident Life Director, Chancellor’s Village
I am a dedicated Activities Director with extensive experience in senior living, bringing over 17 years of hands-on work supporting older adults in a variety of care settings. Throughout my career, I have been committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by promoting engagement, dignity, and emotional well-being.
My background includes working in Independent Living, Assisted Living and memory care communities, where I have developed and led meaningful programs designed to foster connection, creativity, and joy. Over the years, I have seen firsthand the profound impact that expressive and therapeutic activities can have on residents, particularly those living with cognitive and physical challenges.
I recognize the power of rhythm to stimulate memory, encourage movement, and build community. Drum Party provides a unique, non-verbal way for individuals to express themselves and connect with others. As a member of the Drum Party Board of Directors, I hope to support, share my insights from my experience and be an advocate for a program that will enrich the lives of seniors.

Amanda Meredith , Board Member
My name is Amanda Meredith. I have two children, both of whom are neurodivergent. The kids have always loved music, but they've only ever experienced toddlers instruments. We stumbled upon Drum Party last fall and both of my kids absolutely loved the opportunity to try out the different percussion instruments and really let loose and feel the music and the rhythm.
I have a degree in education and helping kids excel is my passion. I'm so grateful to join the board as a parent advocate so we can spread this amazing experience with more children and adults as well who can benefit from drum therapy!
